Every price on this page is a demo price. Your lean, your wires, and your slope change it. We look before we lock a number.

Whole green forestry bucket truck taking down a white oak in a Monticello yard, entire tree and entire truck in the frame, two crew members on the grass beside a brick ranch.

Tree removal

We take the tree down in pieces when it stands over a house, a fence, or a septic line. Open yard trees come down cleaner and cost less.

  • Small

Under 30 feet, open yard, room to drop it

    $375Demo price

  • Medium

30 to 60 feet, or a tree we have to piece down

    $850Demo price

  • Large

Over 60 feet, or tight to the house or the lines

    $1,650Demo price

A tree already on the roof, or a crane day, is priced after we see it. These bands are a starting sheet, not a promise.

Whole bucket truck trimming deadwood from a large maple, the entire tree from the ground to the top of the canopy in frame, vinyl house and wooded hills behind.

Trimming & deadwood

Dead limbs over the roof, a maple rubbing the porch, or a crown that needs light. We prune to the collar. We do not top a tree.

  • Small yard tree

One crown, easy access, a few dead limbs

    $225Demo price

  • Most oaks and maples

A full deadwood pass or a clearance prune

    $450–$900Demo price

If the tree is more dead than alive, we will say so and talk removal instead of a pretty prune.

Whole bucket truck with the boom raised at a vinyl ranch near Jamestown, an oak limb on the roof, the entire house and truck in frame, wooded hills behind.

24/7 storm cleanup

Limb on the house, top in the drive, or a tree across the lane. If a wire is in it, the power company goes first. We do not climb a tree that is in a line.

  • First hour

Clear of wires, crew already rolling, small limb or a blocked drive

    $185Demo price

  • Bigger mess

Tree on the house or several tops down. We look, then we price the rest.

The storm number is the shop number. Someone answers, including at night.

Whole walk-behind stump grinder and the operator grinding an oak stump in a Mill Springs grass yard, both wheels and the cutter in frame, brick house and hills behind.

Stump grinding

Priced by the inch across the stump. We grind below the grass so you can sow the spot. Chips stay or we haul them — your call.

  • Per inch

Measure the widest part of the stump at the flare

    $4.50 / inchDemo price

  • Example

    A 24-inch oak

    $108Demo price

Standard depth is 6 to 8 inches under grade. Deeper, for a new tree in the same hole, is extra.

Whole compact track loader on a cleared bank beside a Lake Cumberland house, the entire house and machine in frame, limestone shore and forested hills across the reservoir.

Lot clearing for lake houses

Brush, small hardwoods, and a view back to the water. We leave the trees you want and we do not push slash into the lake.

  • Half-acre start

Brush and small trees, machine access, you mark what stays

    $2,200Demo price

  • Steep cove lot

We walk it before a firm number. Slope and access change the day.

We cut and stack or chip. We are not the builder, the dozer, or the septic crew.

A complete rick of split oak firewood beside a complete pile of hardwood mulch, with a whole dark green pickup truck in a Wayne County farmyard.

Firewood & mulch

Wood from our jobs, split and stacked when we have it. Fresh chips if you want mulch. Your own chips can stay in the yard at no charge.

  • Split oak

One rick, when the stack at the shop is ready

    $80 a rickDemo price

  • Chips delivered

One yard of fresh hardwood chips in the area

    $35 a yardDemo price

Seasoned wood when we have it. Green wood is marked green. We do not sell it as dry.
